On October 16, 2019, the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Margulan held a scientific seminar "History and Culture of the Great Steppe" within the program "Ruhani Zhagyru." Leading scientists from Russia and Kazakhstan were invited to the seminar with lectures on the development of metallurgy in the earliest period, formation of the Western Asian (Eurasian) metallurgical province on the territory of Kazakhstan: Kuzminykh S.V. - Senior Research Assistant of the laboratory of Natural Science Methods of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Ankushev M. - junior research assistant of the Institute of Mineralogy of the South Ural Federal Scientific Center of Mineralogy and Geoecology of the Ural Branch of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Employees of the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Margulan - Nurzhanov A.A., Yermolayeva A.S., Antonov M., etc. Students of KazNU named after al-Farabi, KazNPU named after Abay and KazLAACE attended the seminar.
