- Rarely found at the burial site of such finds belong to tasmolinsk culture of the Central Kazakhstan - acquainted with the acquisition the director of the Karaganda historical and archaeological museum Erjan Nurmagambetov. - Finding its rightful place in the hall of the Saxon culture. Our task is to clean the mound, confirm the funeral ceremony, find household items and highlight the lifestyle of the people of the Early Iron Age in the period of Saxon culture.

A finder the altar the senior supervisor of the department of the general history, archeology and ethnography Dauren Zhusupov does not hide the excitement:

- The stone is more than 2000 years, but it has remained traces of dye- ochres since that time.  I've seen similar in the TV news from Russia . There was an altar made of quartz and the same red spot on it was explained by the presence of iron oxide.

The Regional History Museum five years ago received a license for research and development in Kazakhstan and conducts the systematic study of the early medieval era of bronze. During this time, trained a generation of young specialists on the early Iron Age, the monuments of which are stored in the museum:  a gold earring and arrowheads found on the island of Tas-Aral on Lake Balkhash , the plaque of iron. Last year, the Buharzhyrau and Abai districts by museum experts were made a curious discovery. The scientists discovered burial mounds, which  testify about  the worship to the cult of war horse .

Coming at the excavations in the Ulytau and Karkarala districts of the Head of the department of the Institute of Archaeology after A.Margulan Candidate of sciences (History)  Arman Beisenov was just what we needed . On the first day we met at the museum. Seeing Stone , an archaeologist could not hide his delight.

- Weighty find! It does not occur in each mound . Previously, I showed the altars , carrying them out of Almaty , and now there is own stone in Karaganda! – said Arman Ziyadenovich . - They are in 4 and 6 feet. In my collection there are those and others. All were found in the Central Kazakhstan and dated by VI-VII centuries BC. Such items are often found in female graves that argued  the anthropological data and the detected there bronze mirrors, beads and earrings. This kind of burial have been linked , as a rule, to worship the priests.  The robbers took away all the mounds beside the altar. Personally, I have seen two such cases. Apparently, the thieves were afraid of punishment ...

According to the scientist, the red stain on the stone,  trace of the dye that is diluted in this tiny stone pelvis. In the 50's in a mound in the corners of the altar identified soot. In the west and the south  were obvious remains of paint. It can be assumed that the hollowed stone was used for  rituals, for a example by shamans.
